This wiki is designed to be an actual Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy in the thinking of the fictional text presented in the novel by Douglas Adams. The basic idea here is to create, through a collective effort, a resource that can be used by people in the Milky Way Galaxy to help them make timely decisions about how to get through existence. This is no small undertaking and one that will hopefully benefit many for generations to come.
